Three races were played on 1st day of TOYOTA 2008 MICRO CLASS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP in Sopot and Gdynia. Weather conditions were really hard, wind direction changed many times. Consequently, 1st start was canceled two times.

Sopot, 21st of July – Pierre Antonie Morvan had beaten Jure Orel in the semifinal of the European Championship. The second semifinal match was won by Peter Wibroe, who defeated Staffan Lindberg, the defender of the title. The weather was perfect for match racing.
